4. Select “RAID” from the options, then press “Enter”.

5. Select the item Onboard Serial-ATA BOOTROM, press “Enter”, then select “Enable” from

the options.

6. Save you changes and exit the BIOS setup. Then proceed to Part B.

Part B: Configure Intel RAID controller

The following configuration changes need to be made in the Intel Matrix Storage Manager

Utility:

* NOTE: Creating an array will cause all data on the drives to be lost. Only proceed

with the following steps if this is a new configuration.

1. During POST, press “Ctrl-I” when prompted to display the utility main menu.

2. Select Option “1”.which says “Create RAID Volume”.

3. Give the array a name, for example: “docSTAR”, then press “Enter”.
