Setting up the test network

To mimic the environment in which business PCs run, we set up a test network with servers handling Microsoft

Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office Groove Manager, and Microsoft Groove Relay. Figure 12

shows a basic diagram of this test network.

Appendix A provides configuration details for both the systems we tested and the other systems in this test

network.

The follow subsections outline how to set up the servers in this network.
