Choose your favorite installation method:

Building the driver

Install rst the Kernel Development tools before building the driver from the TAR

le.

To build the driver

1. Decompress the le.

 tmp#tarvxfjinstall_v10.0.5.3.tar.Z

2. Change to the driver source directory.

cd /DriverInstall/

3. In the DriverInstall directory, install the LAN driver.

./install.sh

4. In the next step, enter 1 to continue.

[root@localhosttmp]#cdDriverInstall/

[root@localhostDriverInstall]#./install.sh

5. Enter cd /usr/src/linux/

cat /tmp/DriverInstall/sk98lin_v10.0.5.3_2.6.18_patch | patch -p1

6. Enter modprobe sk98lin

7. Conrm the installed driver version with the lsmod command.

8. Refer to Red Hat distribution documentation to congure the network protocol

and address.
